Q: How is the compatibility of the batteries?
A: Our LiFePO4 batteries are compatible with most of the popular inverters available in the market, through CAN or Modbus communication. If you don’t find your inverter brand on our list, provide us with the communication protocol of your inverter, and we will upgrade our system to support your device. You can select the corresponding communication protocol on the LCD.
Q: Are the lithium batteries of MENRED ESS safe?
A: MENRED ESS LiFePO4 battery exclusively uses LiFePO4 battery cells, which, compared to other types of lithium batteries, offer higher thermal stability. In cases of overcharging or short-circuit protection, these batteries do not catch fire or explode. Under 25-degree Celsius conditions and with 0.5C charge-discharge rates, their cycle life exceeds 6000 cycles. They are free from cobalt and cadmium, have a relatively low self-discharge rate, and provide stable voltage and current output performance.
